Mr. ADEBAYO S. AROWOSEGBE
HEAD, ACADEMICS.
Adebayo S. AROWOSEGBE is a seasoned educationist with current and relevant experience that spans over two decades. As a thoroughbred in the academia, he has education qualifications up to second degree (N.C.E.; BSC Ed; M. Ed). He is opportune to have taught all categories of learners from Preschool children to Secondary students. This has earned him a rear competence of flexibility and ability to adapt with all kinds of learners in the sector. Having focused on Primary Education, and as a former Top Class educator for more than fifteen-years, he has prepared pupils for both local and international examinations with the candidates coming top year in year out.
Moreover, he has been trained locally and abroad on various topical and trending issues in education which bother on pedagogy, andragogy, professionalism, teacher effectiveness and what have you. He has also facilitated training at a consultancy capacity for Preschool, Primary and Secondary teachers. His passion for professional development keeps propelling him to continually share good practice with colleagues in series of workshops and seminars. In a nutshell his entire work life has been fully devoted to educating children, developing teachers and formulating policies to raise the bar of excellence in the sector.
In addition, his sterling leadership qualities coupled with problem solving skills, innovative spirit, team building prowess, ability to collaborate and result oriented capacity have endeared him to varying leadership roles in the past and at present. He has led as Head of Department, Supervisor, Head of Primary and Head of School; leading as Head of Academics at present. He is a strong believer in leading with the head, hand and heart; leadership that compels commitment rather than compliance. In other words, he leads by example as ‘he loves to work the talk’.
Adebayo S. AROWOSEGBE is happily married to a beautiful Urhobo woman from Ethiope East, Delta State. The marriage is blessed with three adorable children; two boys and a girl. He loves God and family. His core values are honesty, hard work, discipline, integrity and care (empathy).
